Issues Checklist

As part of our goal to strengthen the twin pillars of good governance -- increased voter involvement and transparency– through improved communications, we will provide an “Issues Checklist” showing the position of our legislators on issues of major significance to their constituents, as defined by members of our Advisory Boards (Homeowners and Government).

The Homeowners Advisory Board, currently representing almost 100 HOAs in the community, meets regularly to discuss issues of importance to their homeowner members. The initiatives listed below were adopted at its recent meeting on October 21. For more information on these items, click on the Info button

The "Checklist" below reflects the position of our legislators on these issues.

Recognizing that not all issues can be simplistically answered with a "Yes" or "No" response, we provide the opportunity for them to explain, clarify or discuss their position. Their comments can be accessed by clicking on their initials (at the top of each column) or on their name (in the legend).

Note: Our general policy on political activities is to be nonpartisan as to a candidate’s party affiliation, overall philosophy and position on general social, political, and economic policies. However, we do inform voters about a legislator’s position on specific issues important to homeowners.
